Mazda RX-8 Gone After 2011 Model Year?

Rumor / 1 Comment

According to sources at Mazda North America, the not-so-young RX-8 is taking its final bow in the United States after the 2011 model year. As fate should have it, the sportscar is also set to be cut out of European markets as well due to its inability to meet Euro V emissions standards. No announcements have been made just yet from the guys at Mazda in regards to the death of the RX-8 or the rebirth of the perennially rumored RX-7 revival.

It would be more than a little shocking if Mazda didn't renew its commitment to the excellent and praise worth engine wrapped up in some sort of package within the next few model years.
