The Acura TSX is sold in Europe as the Honda Accord, where it has the reputation of being an old person’s car. Acura hopes to give it the opposite role in the US by rebadging it and making it into their entry-level model. You don’t have to look too close to see the old person car though, and even though old people in the US tend to drive much bigger cars than this, it’s easy to see the TSX as a scaled-down version of a blue-hair-mobile. There are some details which are exceptions, such as the steering. This is old-person numb but still requires much more effort than old people typically want. The mushy suspension also feels out of place on a car which Acura swears is aimed at young executives. It is a good-looking car though, and cheaper than the luxury offerings from Europe bothers very attractive qualities to buyers of any age.
