2021 BMW M3 And M4 Individual Color Palette Is Stunning

But not all of the colors stun in a good way.

BMW has a pretty good history when it comes to offering vibrant paint finishes and customized options for its customers. It even saw out the production of the i8 hybrid sports car with bespoke paint. These special paint options fall under the BMW Individual range, and there's a unique palette for every model. For example, the 3 Series has a range that is different from that of the 4 Series. Sometimes the colors can be a letdown, but nobody can fault the Bavarian boys and girls for giving you options. Of course, signature models like the all-new M3 and M4 also require special treatment, and we have to say that, for the most part, these colors are epic!

We've already seen the new M3 and M4 in their launch colors of Isle of Man Green and Sao Paulo Yellow, but as gorgeous and vibrant as those shades are, the Individual range is even more eye-catching. Two of the stand-out Skittles shades are Signal Green and Speed Yellow. Miami Blue, originally a Porsche color, is offered too, as are Fire Orange and Mint Green. Rosso Corsa and Santorini Blue are similarly striking and are joined by Ruby Red metallic, Twilight Purple metallic, and Macao Blue metallic. If you don't like being the center of attention, more demure shades like Frozen Dark Grey, Frozen Black, and Chalk are also offered. Brass metallic and Urban Green are available too, but these are colors that we'd avoid like the plague.

Naturally, the interior is another area where the moneymakers in Munich can squeeze your wallet further. At present, BMW's offering here includes a full Merino leather finish in your choice of Ivory White, Merino Tartufo, Fjord Blue/Black, and Fiona Red/Black. Of course, it's entirely possible that these stunning finishes would look disgusting when paired with a polar opposite exterior finish, but we're sure that those spending around $5,000 on paint alone will be careful about the spec they choose. Regardless of which color you choose, there's no doubt that the new M3 and M4 have the show to match their go. We can't wait to see them in the metal.
